Summary

In the great plan of things, Elvis Presley was born to be an entertainer,
to touch the hearts of people and make them aware of the language of their souls,
born with a beautiful harmonious velvet voice he created a new image of freedom
for his generation, his sexual appeal was just one of his attractions, he held
quite firm thoughts and ethics which were based on traditions and his own
experience for which he became a generation figurehead. Quite possibly the
hell raiser of his time, his relating difficulties were caught up in
controversies and the excitement which he caused. He was certainly the boss
in the tribe that surrounded him, being both protector and supporter of them,
yet in another way he relied on them for his personal security and protection
from the outside world, in many ways he was emotionally vulnerable to others
criticism and did not know how to deal with it. He was a sensationalist and
possibly less emotionally mature than his public image implied, he was totally
work and success driven, thriving on the new challenges that faced him, he was
unlikely to be able to maintain any permanent family relationship due to
prioritizing his work and love of people in general. He was truly dedicated to
his music until ill health from excesses paid its due and cut him down in his prime.
