A Look at The Septile Series
The septile series is the name given to the set of aspects created when 360 degrees is divided into seven.
The septile has an angle of 51.4287 degrees or in more real terms 51 degrees 25 minutes 43 seconds, and a rounded up 51 .5 degrees.
Much of my understanding of the septile series comes from knowledge of the number 7 in numerology. Again and again the septile series expresses itself just as the number 7 in numerology.
The seven in numerology is well known in its association with spirituality, mysticism, wisdom and success, people are dignified, often educators and have a love of nature, they are usually silent, spiritual or scientific, or studious.
But there is a negative side which can also be associated with the septile series, my keyword personality characteristics in this area are; aloofness, coldness, lives in the past, peculiar, sceptical and unapproachable.
The very destructive influences of the seven can manifest in; dishonesty, cheating, being faithless, a gossip, sarcastic and having secret motives, which appeal to the criminal mind.
In numerology, the 7's very first expression in communication is "give me time to think about it", so anyone with more than the average number of septiles in their chart [or a prominent 7 in their birth-date /name] will have a tendency to "sleep on it" or review things in their own time, don't expect quick e-mail replies from septile people.
All communications and actions are made in “their time”, and nothing will hurry them up, this often makes them appear out of step with others and the world around them, unless the natal chart shows great punctuality and rhythm of life, they may listen to the beat another drum, often natures own.
Curiously the number 7 is associated with the planet Neptune in the natal chart, and the south node.
While Neptune is notably associated with the attributes of faith and religion, [alongside Jupiter] the more imaginative projections, ESP and idealisms, illusions and transcendental happenings are placed in the realms of Neptune. Neptune is also associated with chemists, physicists and inventors. The tri-septile, often requires help and aid from others to recognise the potential.
The understanding of the south node becomes more apparent when going through the septile cycle, the 206 degree, fourth harmonic particularly resonates with the south node, where the past is left behind, nothing is ever as it was before.
People who are born to the 7th Moon phase also have this expression in their life, of leaving home, leaving the past behind them, in some shape or form, often explorers who dare to re-locate to another part of the world, or explore themselves through daring.
Don’t worry about a child with such a prominent 7 or a septile series or life path, they are the favourites of everyone they meet, due to their ability to adjust and exhibit a nature of non-discrimination, often a 7 person has a wide circle of helpers.
Those with prominent septiles often underestimate their talents and potentials, they are often sweet and charming with very human qualities.
Their brilliant and practical ideas attract people like magnets, some are good story tellers and speakers, others may travel to foreign lands, become diplomats, or gain recognition in their field. The septile can be seen in the charts of the peacemaker, the arbitrators or the spiritual masters.
The bi-septile is an indication of the advisor.
If drawn into the immoral side of the law they can make master criminals, being both secretive and sly. Septile patterns are seen in the charts of drug dealers and tricksters as well as priests.
Those with predominant septiles and 7’s are often drawn into meditation, they may have a variety of clairvoyance abilities, personal magnetism, hypnotic powers, and the ability of transferring channelled energy.
Between the ages of 35-45 the intuitive powers increase, some can reads the minds of others as clearly as reading a book, often their spiritual life takes off after these years. The 7’s have remarkable dreams, which give direction, and can be associated with Neptune.
I use the solar fire software “aspect frequency analysis” for assessing aspect hits in a natal chart. This is generally 2 hits for the septile, 3 for the bi-septile and 3 for the tri-septile. Those with higher hits than mentioned are definitely aware of other realities, and dissolving boundaries between worlds.
People associated with the number 7 [either through their name number, or date of birth or septile sequence in their natal chart], need more rest than other people, they can't take loud noises, crowds, noise or commotion, for them balance is maintained through serenity.
Both prominent septiles and 7’s are usually conservative in dress and usually only speak when they have something to say, unless the natal chart defines something different.
7 is the number of faith, and those with prominent septile series, find they have to endure events which "test their faith".
The testing of faith is quite possibly the most important issue in the septile series. All septiles challenge a person’s faith in one way or another.
7 is also the number of the specialist, so if you seek advice from a seven, you know you are getting a valuable perspective, one that is built on observation and thought over a period of time.
7's like to be alone. Often in astrology the position and aspects of Saturn and Capricorn can show loneliness, but the difference with the number 7, or harmonic 7 is that "being alone" is the chosen state preferred!
A 7 person is either an outspoken sceptic or spiritually inclined, 7’s never show indifference on this subject.
If a 7 likes you, they will open up, but generally they are hard people to get to know, they need love, understanding and compassion, basically they are intuitive intellectuals and prefer to keep part of themselves secret.
Below are my own findings for the different septile aspects, I have not seen these interpretations given anywhere else, obviously including the houses and signs give further meaning to each individual chart.
The first septile, 51.5*
Shows an impetus for new understanding, a person instinctively knows how to improve on things, they may voice their criticisms or have self assertions to see how their new understanding is received by others.
Bi-septile 103 *
The person becomes a central sounding board for everyone else, they embody other peoples problems and resolve their dilemmas, so often in events there is a form of exchange, testing the waters and seeing how others have done, being the oracle for others.
The tri-septile 154.5 *
Its about giving expression to the potential, the potential can be anything, simply enquiring or consulting with another to find the potential, it can be showing others the potential of themselves. Things tend to be laid bare.
Quad-septile 206*
A shock, the discord, the shattered expectation, the change in tradition, or the way of doing things, a break from the past, the test of inner strength when everything around tumbles down in pieces, broken but the spirit is stronger than ever, its about facing a catastrophe and surviving, or being offered the dream.
The quin-septile 256* [bi-septile]
Great strength, great power energy available, can be used in healing, great healers wielding power to rebalancing others, conceives order, projects them onto the world, contributes to society, a simple living. re-energizes, hears natures vibration, in many different ways, feels a part of nature.
Septile 307*
Universal consciousness, sharing experiences, being a spokesman for others, having followers, applying understanding to human needs, great "perception".
In early 2005, I had a reading from a psychic, who read my personal magnetics, because she was so precise in her dates, I returned and reviewed the astrology for the year against her predictions and realised she was actually reading my astrology chart. She showed me just how important the ascendant is. So I have always put my starting point for harmonics since then at the Ascendant, some astrologers use the Aries point, but I find the Ascendant far more revealing!
I.E.
By making the Ascendant the start of the 7th harmonic sequence, the first septile lands in possibly the 11th house, 51.5 degrees away, and going in a clockwise direction, should any planet fall on these natural septile degrees, the life is likely to express the changes shown by the septiles above in some way.
Therefore the 206 degrees clockwise from the Ascendant is a precarious position, that is 26 degrees below the descendant degree and possibly in the 6th house. What ever planet or asteroid is there shows the potential cause of a shock and life changing experiences.
At 104 degrees from the ascendant in approximately the 4th house, is the 256 degree bi-septile, it is a location of where “power” can be tapped into.
one person who introduced the full spectrum frequencies to us in 1994 has their natal Venus exactly on this degree from their ascendant, showing this power source comes through Venus, and is a female energy. There is more on these new frequencies from the channelled entity “Kryon”, they bring both information and light.
Incidentally I have noticed people who practice as frequency healers have these same degrees highlighted in some way. That is 3-6 degrees Sagittarius.
Its worth just making a plastic template with the natural septile points on, so they can be placed over a chart and aligned with the ascendant, any sensitive points can be seen immediately, these septile points would otherwise not be picked up by the standard astrological software.
When placing the septile series against the Midhaven, a persons career changes accordingly, if planets are on these degrees. A friend with a conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter on the 206 degree suggesting career change, unexpectedly became a professor, I have Uranus at this degree, Uranus rules the 9th and 10th houses, twice I have given up work [career] and lived abroad at a moments notice.
Tony Blair does not have a planet at 0 degrees Cancer, his 206 degree career change point.
George Bush also has 28 degrees Virgo unoccupied, the same 206 degree career change point.
The Dalai Lama has the asteroids Apollo and panacea at 206 degrees from the Midhaven, approx 25.5 degrees Leo, his great change in life comes from the inability to solve the problem with China, he must feel like he is banging his head against a brick wall, it has caused him huge changes in life style and career and location.
When looking at the septile series from the Ascendant, Princess Diana had Venus just about in orb for the 206 fatalistic degree [clockwise from the Ascendant], in many ways she obtained the Prince of her dream, but ultimately her love was shattered, it effected her status [ruler of the MC] and her relationship with her children [ruler of the 5th].
Interestingly Michael Jackson has the asteroid Baccus at 206 degrees from the Ascendant, he certainly was shocked into changing his way of doing things, Baccus is in Scorpio, perhaps suggesting the association with sexuality.
The natural septile series certainly reveals otherwise unknown information about a persons life.
The Numerology of the Septile
To look deeper into the septile, we can look into the mysteries and the Kabbalah, which consist of 10 globes of light on the tree of the soul. These lights are connected by 22 paths and are represented by the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet. Each of the letters has its own esoteric meaning.
Light emanates from a dot in the centre of each globe, reflecting the light of God, when each of the globes deepest meanings are understood, then wisdom and knowledge are revealed.
The Hebrew alphabet is represented in “The book of Formation” and the presentation of the letters are very revealing for the astrologer, when they are drawn pictorially as a double star.
The double star of the Sephir Yetzirah
At the very centre is the throne, the dot of the creator. The centre triangle ; A=Air, M=Water, sh=Fire The inner star, are the seven double letters of wisdom and the outer star, the twelve signs of the Zodiac.
Therefore the septile series holds within it the representation of the seven wisdoms.
Because I always align everything to the ascendant, imagine the above diagram turned through 90 degrees so that A, Th and Z align with the astrological chart ascendant to the left.
Now the Septile series can be seen in the inner star.
Each of the letters has a quality of wisdom to balance, which shows itself in the septiles.
The Ascendant [th] is concerned with beauty and deformity.
It is well known that the Ascendant symbolizes the material look of the body, it is a point which is triggered when there are accidents, operations, illnesses and a physical manifestation. A person may be born naturally beautiful and healthy, only to find in later years it has slipped away and been replaced by a deformity born of illness. A person may experience both sides of the opposition. Planets partick on the Ascendant often symbolize physical beauty or deformity.
The 51.5 degree septile [B] is concerned with wisdom and foolishness.
I have written this as an impetus for improvement, the desire behind foolish or wise actions, without desire or the ability to see how to do something better, nothing happens. Who can judge what is wise or foolish at the stage of ideas. At this moment in time, there is nothing more than a desire for improvement.
The 103 degree bi-septile [G]concerns itself with riches and poverty.
The impetus for improvement has moved into sounding out the idea[s], listening to others ideas, seeking advise from those who possibly have similar experiences, it’s an information gathering time, sounding ideas off people, consideration is given to will it or will it not work for me ,what is the feasibility, but also what will I get out of it? Is it for fun, for a profit, for gain. In order for a human to create, its necessary to visualize, to imagine and be active within the scene, to visualize at this stage brings riches later, but for those who do not know how to manifest their dreams, they may at this stage take others material items, so the bi-septile is associated with crime.
The 154.5 degree tri-septile [D] concerns itself with fertility and sterility.
Have called this position “potential”, often seeking outside help to see the potential of a situation, at this stage the idea or impetus for improvement either goes ahead or is dropped, obviously when the impetus is fertile it goes ahead. Sterility simply means no ideas are materialized, creation stops there. Interestingly I’ve noticed d and 4 come up quite a lot in people who are impotent or have sexual problems.
The 206 degree quad –septile [K] concerns itself with life and death.
I call this the fatalistic degree portraying unexpected change. I have seen more charts where there is shock and a change of life, but also there are people who have been offered their dreams when this point holds a planet. What ever this point represents in a persons life, the final outcome is a much stronger spirit. quite literally our loved ones maybe born or die, when this point is activated. This is when an impetus for improvement is born and, materialises into the world.
The 256 degree bi-septile [P] concerns itself with power and servitude.
Have called this aspect the position of power, it can describe where a person gains their power fro and healers may have this position activated. Once the impetus for improvement has been established and materialized, then power is gained as a result, but the real question for this position is how is the materialization used, is it for helping others and ourselves or gaining power over others? So this position is about use. Is the manifestation used with integrity, morality and good intent? Again the bi-septile is seen in the charts of criminals.
The 307 degree septile [R] concerns itself with war and peace.
What creates wars between countries and people are imbalances ,those who have too much and those who do not have enough ,success always comes with sharing the gains with everyone, humanity is basically tribal, alienation and isolation lead to separation and ill feeling and resentment, basically this septile aspect has humanitarianism at its centre, I personally have Pluto on this position and I would love to see an end to war.
Each step of the septile pattern requires solving a different problem in manifestation, to walk the middle path as Buddha would say, to find balance in expression, each step of the septile requires faith in the self.
The Septile series in action;
Already through numerology we have established that the septile is related to spirituality, and quite possibly death[?]
I came across an old article by Bernadette Brady in an Astrological journal for 2000 where she attempted using the Hyleg and Bonnatti’s technique and the alococcoden [which allocates the years given in life] to attempt to assess the Popes length of life.
Using Bonattis calculated method , not one of the Popes actual deaths aligned with his calculations, there were approximately 3 years, 3 years and 14 years difference.
So although Bernadette showed Bonattis method unreliable, she did enter the dates of death of the last 100 Popes from Honorius II, [died 14 february 1130.os] to John Paul I, into her Jigsaw software and found that a pattern was contained within 50 of those death dates.
The Pattern was that of the Septile, the 7th harmonic, the pattern was formed by using just the outer planets of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and the mean node., with just a 2 degree orb.
[I wonder if she had used the complete set of chart points if more than 50 charts would have concluded?]
I checked to see if Pope John Paul 2nds day of death [2 April 2005] showed any of these degrees being transited, interestingly the South Node was at 22 degrees 49R Libra. He died at age 84, Bonatti’s method implied 2003.
The next time one of these degrees will be transited will be during February 2007, by Jupiter at 17 degrees Sagittarius, is it likely that Pope Benedict 16th reign may end then? His natal chart Mars/Saturn midpoint is 18 Virgo 13. in Square to this harmonic. The last two eclipses are conjunct his Ascendant at 15 degrees Pisces and conjunct his vertex at 29 20 Virgo. [4 & 3 degrees orb respectively] and Squaring Mars, traditional ruler of 8th house of death. [Scorpio]
Does this also imply that the next pope’s chart may in some way resonate with 7 degrees Aquarius?
Curious to know if any of the degrees of the chart of the Vatican city resonates with the septile series seen in the of deaths Popes, I looked at the chart of Vatican city.
As can be seen, the PARs resonates at 2 Virgo, which is also close to the Ascendant at 4 Virgo, and the North node at 21 Taurus is in orb of the 19 degree Taurus septile. I wonder if the Vatican Ascendant could be nearer 2 degrees Virgo? The septile is such a powerful statement, which cannot be ignored. The time would then be 10.45 am CET Rome. The difference would be the placement of Jupiter, going from the 9th house to the 10th house and more in keeping with spiritual recognition and standing, and look like this;
The Septile association with the 7th layer of the DNA
The seventh layer of the DNA is Known as “Kaduma Elohim” in Hebrew and means “revealed divinity”.
Kryon tells us it is the Lemurian layer of DNA, and tunes in with the interdimensional Lemurians of Telos mountains.
In most people today it is dormant, but will become activated as we move towards enlightenment. Hoa Yawee Maru is Lemurian and means “the DNA home language”. It is the core seed layer that is activated.
The core seed was given to humanity from the Pleiadians in the seven sisters, and started humanity as we know it.
This layer is interdimensional, it’s about knowing that we are God, its about having belief in being interdimensional and knowing that it works for us.
Kryon says “that it’s also called the Dragon layer - the creative, the star seed; the Lemurian, the Indigo. It's awakening consciousness that brings us again to the potential of the original seed biology.
This layer has been dormant as a time capsule. It's the one that has the medical intuitive in it.”
The septile has powerful healing attached to it, so medical intuitive can also be associated with the septile. I have seen people with the Bi-septile have this ability and quite likely it is associated with other series of septiles. I have a few tri-septiles and am a medical intuitive.
Through the activation of the 7th layer, intuition and abilities that were lost due to humanities devolution are able to return, the increased vibration of the planet allows the DNA to activate and enlightenment will mean some of these abilities returning, like knowing just what the solar system looks like.
It is likely that the amazing healer Bil Gray of the last century was such a person who tuned into the ecliptic “ring” where all information and inventions are held. Another aspect of the septile series is the love of nature, the love of the Earth itself. Also communicating with the body and showing
appreciation. Channelling is associated with this layer and hence in the septile series. People with this DNA layer active talk to plants and animals, marvel at the Earth and pick up nature’s vibrations; it’s an interdimensional communications layer with everything.

Questions Answered
Q. I am curious about the illustration: Why did you list the aspects going clockwise instead of forward through the zodiac?
A. The Earths magnetics is fixed, and the direction of the Earths daily rotation is defined by the rising ascendant, which moves in a clockwise direction, so it is natural to assume that the
changes to the Earths magnetics /induction field are in the same direction. If you notice I have put the starting point at the ascendant, I haven't chosen the Sun, ( possibly another natural starting point) so it is all about the natal planets and planetary transits aligning with the Earths magnetic field.
I first came across the meaning of the bi-septile, after a tarot reading!, the next came the 206 degree when my son left,then the power, the potential for improvemnt and the impetus for change and sharing came last. I looked at a number of events which repeated my findings, and while the direction is opposite, to the planets, it is correct, we don't start a cycle of discovery by sharing knowledge we start with an impetus for change and then look at its feasability.
